AMR is the #1 leader in the discovery of unknown talent in World Music and other lesser known music genres

AMR was founded by Benji Bendrix former bass player of Hollywood’s alternative Funk Rock band Passing Funkharmonic Orchestra (P.F.O.). After 9 years at the top of their game and two near-misses at getting signed by the Majors, the band called it quits after one drummer after another quit in discouragement.

Bendrix decided to start his own record label to market his own music and help other promising Artistes not suffer what his own band suffered in the hands of the industry.

Currently, AMR signs two Artistes every 2 to 3 years.

AMR currently has three Artistes on its roster whose styles of music borrow heavily from the following genres of music: Rock, Reggae, World Music, Afro-Pop, Afro-Rock, Reggae-Rock and Traditional African.

AMR is committed to its quest to be the best Indie label out there. An Indie label that’s committed to the affairs of its Artistes.
